Enabling families to become self-reliant

Fundraising for 2026.

With your support, we can provide wholistic care to children, young adults and parents in Katanga. Choose a project you believe in below and donate to help change lives in Uganda.

Provide Education

We are raising an additional £3,000, allowing secondary school students to continue their education through vocational training.

Equip Parents

We hope to provide vocational training for 10 more women this year. £30/month is enough to give one young mother the opportunity to gain a skill and earn an income to support their family.

Deworming Medication

Treating parasitic worms is important for children to absorb nutrients required for good health and reduce skin irritation. The medication costs £2.30/person. £410 would be enough to provide treatment for 88 students twice a year.

Mental Wellbeing

Last year we invested more heavily in mental health and wellbeing support. Drug and substance abuse has been increasing following hardships post covid. We provided professional group therapy and community wellbeing workshops. These have proved invaluable for the families we work with and we would like to offer this again in 2026.

Gift Aid Declaration.

If you are eligible for Gift Aid (UK tax payer), we can boost your donation by 25p for every £1 you donate. This extra amount we can claim back from the government, means a huge amount to our income as a charity, meaning we can provide more education and training opportunities to children and young women in Katanga.
