Enabling families to become self-reliant

Our Work.

Providing opportunities in education & vocational training.

Education and vocational training in Uganda is not free and accessible for all. We provide opportunities for people in Uganda to work towards a self sufficient income.

I am learning mechanics, specializing in car engines. The training is going well, I have so far learnt the basics of mechanics.

I want to become a good mechanical engineer like the best engineers I admire here in the garage.

We work with girls between the ages of 15-23, we help skill these girls, provide counselling and teach literacy to those who don’t know how to read or write. We have girls coming in with low self esteem, so we help to build this. And also, we provide skills training to those who don’t really believe in themselves.

Everyone has ambition, we have some young students who are hoping to become lawyers, others doctors. We have one who has started training in Nursing. Each one has a big hope, and this is all because of the sponsorship offered through Hope for Life. I’m very grateful that we have changed the lives of these people in Katanga.

Success Stories

We work with some truly inspiring people, making the most of the situations they find themselves in. Here are just a few of the stories of those who have received sponsorship for their training and are now in work earning an income.
