Francis talks about Coronavirus and government restrictions in Uganda
Francis gives us an insight into life in Uganda for him and many others in the country during lockdown. President Museveni, and the government in Uganda, put restrictions in place on the 31st March. These measures have managed to keep the virus from spreading through Uganda but with little-to-no social security in the country, many Ugandans are feeling the strain of a drop or complete loss of income.
Restrictions look like they will be eased in the coming months but without a vaccine or treatment, many will continue to struggle as they see their savings depleted.
