From catch-up to formal school, Namuddu keeps her dream alive
Namuddu is a hard working girl who enjoys helping her mother with house chores like cleaning utensils, cleaning the house and fetching water.
Last year, Namuddu graduated for our catch-up class and this year, she joined formal school in primary one. She shared with us how she feels about this transition.
1. Is formal school any different from your catch up school?
Yes, they are different. Catch up school was small but formal school is big with many people. The teacher’s table at catch-up school was small but here it’s big.
2. Have you made any friends yet?
I have already made two friends though I doesn't know their names yet.
3. What time does school start and end?
School starts at 8:00am and we are released to go home at 1:00pm
4. What do you miss about catch-up?
I miss the teachers and the class work. I also miss the porridge.
5. What do you want to become after school?
I want to become a doctor
6. What is your favourite subject?
English language
7. What do you do in your free time at school?
I play dodge ball
We are proud of Namuddu and wish her the very best in her studies.
